It seems like ages ago that we passed along the news that Minnesota Vikings’ wide receiver Stefon Diggs will be taking part in an episode of Celebrity Family Feud http://www.thevikingsfootballauthentic. … -authentic , and indeed the announcement initially came out back around Memorial Day. Now, finally, after lo these many months, it appears that the episode is finally going to air.San Francisco 49ers defensive lineman Arik Armstead posted this tweet earlier today:Armstead is one of Diggs’ teammates on “Team Veterans,” along with Cleveland Browns’ quarterback Tyrod Taylor, Detroit Lions’ running back Legarrette Blount, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive tackle Gerald McCoy. They will be taking on “Team Rookies,” which consists of players that were rookies in 2017, not this current season. Those players are Chicago Bears’ quarterback Mitchell Trubisky, New York Jets’ safety Jamal Adams, Cleveland Browns’ defensive lineman Myles Garrett, Jacksonville Jaguars’ offensive tackle Cam Robinson, and Buffalo Bills’ cornerback Tre’Davious White.The episode will air on ABC this coming Sunday at 7:00 PM Central time. As far as the Vikings’ offensive starters, they were even more impressive. Royce Freeman helped the Broncos capitalize, as he took a handoff on 3rd-and-3 and rumbled 23 yards for a touchdown to cut the Minnesota lead to 17-7. The play was not only Denver’s first score of the night, but their initial first down of the evening as well, coming with 5:47 remaining in the first half.On the next series, Roc Thomas struck again, as he took a short screen pass from Siemian, made a man miss, and rumbled 78 yards for his second touchdown of the evening. Carlson was good on the extra point again, and the Vikings lead once again expanded to 17 points at 24-7.The Vikings special teams gave one back after the two-minute warning, unfortunately. When he got going, however, he made the Vikings’ punt coverage unit look terrible, as he wound up going 78 yards for another Denver touchdown. He went over 100 yards receiving, snagging three passes for 102 yards and both of Siemian’s touchdown throws.
